What internet is best for PS4

Hey Guys.

Need some advise please.
Have a friend who is looking at getting a fixed line(telkom line) at home to play games on PS4.
Games like Fifa, Gta, Cod and so on.

Now Ive never played online when i had a PS, always gaming on PC only. Not sure if there is a difference. Also on PC i can pause my downloads for between 12 and 7am to download. Not sure if i can do this on PS4?
What would you guys suggest is the best speed and of course keeping in mind of the big updates like GTA and so on?

Hes willing to spend between R500 to R800 a month.

edit* and then there's Netflix as well i have to keep in mind for him.

Well besides adsl he could get uncapped lte from Telkom if his area is covered. Out of the two I would go for the lte because of how well it handles Netflix streaming and the ping isn't bad at all.

From my side, I dunno if it's the same thing, but I have a XBOX ONE and the only initial issue once you connect your "console" to the internet is the massive updates the games do, depending on how many games you have, I had about 9 initially, I ended up doing just over 250GB of updates.

But now playing games, the syncs, etc, 4MB is fine.
