why dont you have the invoice? what's the use of saying there's a warranty if the buyer won't be able to claim the warranty in case of it breaking. also, can you run 'crystaldiskinfo' on it and post a screenshot please, to determine the wear on the drive

Sorry about the late response

I don't have the invoice because I bought them from someone else, new. It was a while ago, he may or may not have the invoice
I will download that software later today and do some tests :)

As a guy who took out the HDD cages of my micro ATX case to make room for watercooling I can recommend the following solution to storage limitations.

I'm running a TrueNAS NAS from which I share a iSCSI drive to my gaming PC over Gigabit LAN. The magic then happens with Primocache which can use a part of my NVMe drive in the gaming PC for caching the iSCSI drive. This way 80% - 90% of reads happen on the NVMe instead of from the NAS, but I still get the full capacity of the NAS available.

Anyway, GLWS

Thanks for the advice man, I had already made other plans but this is something I can try in the future

Drives are sold. I have two more 8TBs that I actually wiped, and will sell them now that these are sold
If anyone is interested you can message me
