Job Description/Requirements:

Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

1. Move inventory and materials across facilities
2. Process inventory for delivery Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
3. Package items and label correctly
4. Scan delivered items and ensure quality
5. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
6. Stack and organize large bulk items
7. Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location
8. Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
9. Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
10. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
11. Work as an active team member to complete team goals
12. Prepare documentation and inventory for audits

Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

1. High school degree or equivalent
2. Valid driver’s license
3. Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
4. Physically able to lift up to 10KG or more
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system
8. Able to work independently

I'm interested, I do reps of 4 times that weight of 20+ lifts 4 times a day. I have also helped with stock keeping. O losses on my watch or unconfirmed stock accepted. Moved to CPT from JHB to work in the tourism industry. That's not going to revive any time soon. So I'll guess I'll move back
