Item Wanted: super value for money PC for around R1,000
Packaging Essential: not at all
Desired Age: recent enough to still be relevant
Location: Sandton and surrounds
Willing to accept a shipped item: No, and I'd ideally like to see it boot up and do something non-trivial before I pay

I'm putting out this feeler to see what I can get to replace my media PC for R1,000 or less.
4 years ago I bought a Lenovo PC in a stock clearance sale for R1,140 which I've been using as a media PC. But it's showing it's age now. It's got a G840 processor, 4GB RAM (had only 2GB until yesterday!) and onboard GPU, so it's really not too good at anything except streaming and browsing, but it worked for me all this while.
So this is my feeler for a replacement.
Maybe I'm like Mr Anderson: "living in a dream world", or maybe you wanna offload that old PC cos the longer you wait, the less it's worth. So lemme know.
I don't need a keyboard, mouse, or monitor.
