I'll be sure to add you to see what the multiplayer is about. I managed to play for just over an hour last night. With Uplay not working I struggled to troubleshoot thinking something was wrong with my PC as I could not connect. Only an hour later did I read the news that Uplay was just crashing for everybody. What a shiiiite experience first time with Uplay. I ended up getting connected shortly after.

As for the game, beautiful in every way. I am yet to really get stuck into it but the world is massive and it looks to have plenty content.

Thanks for the tip, ever since Geforce Experience was giving me issues with BF4 I've had it uninstalled

Won't be playing until they fix the bloody driver support. Downloaded the new 14.6 drivers and R9 290 crossfire still not working.

Also, if you having trouble copying the game from a friend (installed files), just scream if you need help. Also took the morning to figure out LOL

Please do share how you got that solved, I've had plenty of issues with AC Black Flag every time I copied the updated game from a friend (before I had adsl).

I just don't understand how Uplay still doesn't have a backup and restore feature like Steam does

K, my uPlay is intalled to C: but my games download and games directory is D:/uPlay games/. Open up uPlay and let the game start downloading about 5mb. Pause download and close uPlay down. Copy game (backup from friend) to D:/uPlay games/games (my directories). Go into D:/uPlay games/Game cache and delete the downloaded data. Now go to C:/Program files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/data/274 (this is the folder name for Watch dogs) and delete the files & folders INSIDE "274". Now open uPlay and click on game. It will have a play button now instead of download, click on the drop down menu from Play and verify the files. Then it should work.

Yip, I can get 60-100fps depending on high to ultra settings, but every now and then it will drop to around ten, last night it started to drop 2fps when I got in and out of cars so I decided to quit and restart just to be met by a uplay update which I then decided to abandon and play dota

Yup. FPS issues here big time. I just set everything to low at this point to keep a constant 60fps. :/

This one I want to have a look at, apparently it makes a big diff:

3. Watch Dogs runs slowly.

Try fixing the configuration file in “Documents/My Games/Watch Dogs/”.
Open GamerProfile.xml file in notepad and find DeferredFxQuality=”console”.
Replace the “console” with “PC”.

Anyone here with 4 gig or more vram playing the game, pref 6gig?
I'd like to know how much of your dedicated memory is being used when you running on 1080p with textures set to ultra and all the other Graphics settings at max on the following AA configs:
AA off
4xMSAA
8xMSAA
4xTXAA

I've finished the single player last night and really enjoyed the story. There was some stuttering here and there but nothing too bad. I did not play all the side missions so will spend some time doing so going forward.

The problematic issue for me was the slow mouse during hacking but some editing in the gamerprofile appeared to have sorted it out.

Any idea how to DISABLE auto-aim?? They made it with heavy controller support...

Note: There is a way to fix mouse acceleration. Mouse acceleration is what nightmares are made of. It's like getting a big 'f*** you' from the developers before even starting the game.
