Hello All
Has anyone experienced Routing issues on a fibre line with Vumatel?
I Work for a small ISP I am having issues with a Vumatel fibre line on a specific client, Where the traffic to my PBX is going to Europe. Our whole operations resides in JHB Teraco but somehow if you ping our services (PBX) its over 170ms and if you traceroute on this fibre line is has over 20 hops and goes through 4 MPLS and back to us, we have a Seacom and mweb IP range that I have tested were the traffic to those ranges are going overseas but who's at fault Vuma? Seacom? Mweb? I am falling on deaf ears this Vumatel line is being managed by ignite.
I have submitted them all evidence it been 3 weeks, I am on the verge of losing this client for an issue out of my control, this vumatel fibre line does not do it to all traffic some local services at being routed correctly. We have alot of clients we do VOIP for and many of them are on Openserve and Vumatel and there are no issues. We have backup LTE links for this client, and it works great but loadshedding and LTE is disastrous, it's a constant battle.
Thanks, in advance.
