Evening all, so I have some remaining fixed lines that I want to switch over to VoIP, and just wanted to know which providers I should look at just for best service offered.

I know this isn't really giving alot of general information, but all I really require would be month to month (possibly don't want the 6 month retention but it's not a deal killer) and number porting.

I don't need a switchboard for business. And if you guys have any advice I should know beforehand I'd appreciate it. As well as what are decent VoIP phones to be looking at to buy. Or if there's anything I should be looking to avoid.

Thanks All

I Don know if the guys offer month to month but maybe worth a look. I'm using a giga set from Siemens two Cordless phone sharing same extention and provider is telviva.com.

They are mostly stable and not much issues.

@solv - Thanks didn't know about telviva but will definitely look into them.

And then I've seen people say freshphones.co.za and abacustelecomm.co.za - If anyone has had any experience with them?

I know webafrica , afrihost and the such do VoIP but I'd rather get a service from actual providers themselves.
