FYI

Im selling this as non working!

Bought this card privately a while back and used in a build (working)then stored for a bit and then when tested again theres no display..aio powers on ,fans and leds etc but no display..the power tach lights up for a split second then goes off..the plan was to keep it as a display piece(very good looking card) if i cant get it fixed but just havnt got to that and maybe someone else can fix this..

Pm if u need more deetz.

I know this might sound super arbitrary but the fact that you stored it after it had been working leads me to it. Have you checked the PSU you're using or perhaps attempted to run two separate PCIe cables to it?

Yep tried every possible troubleshooting solution and my psu works fine with all my other cards..i suspect its a power phase control or something..could be talking complete smack but from everything iv read it leads me to that

always use separate cables from the psu so power draw is from independent outputs. Lol iv tried everything that doesn't require any circuit board knowledge.

Eish. I should have figured but damn that's odd.

As far as I know, unless you zapped it with static somehow, or your PSU did something to it upon your first attempt at booting; I don't know how a GPU would just die whilst doing nothing. I really hope you somehow find that it's a simple issue. Really sorry about that.

watch the video..im assuming something could've fried on 1st boot after putting it on again before any chance to display. Theres no physical sign on the board but then again i know jack about all these tiny controllers and regulators etc. Caps and everything else all look normal.

That was quite interesting. I can see why you my initial question may have seemed a bit insulting. I know of some invididuals who will swear by not using multple PCIe cables so I figured it wasn't impossible that that was merely the case.

Didnt find it insulting at all..always worth checking, sometimes the power switch just needs to be flipped :geek: however this is definitely not the case..thanks anway bud

Okay DIY shelf for me it is..keeping this but will leave thread open to post a pic of my R2000 piece of art after its mounted.
