Delivery/Collection: both, local only
Condition: New, minor scratches

Hi there,

Selling the following setup as a whole, not looking to separate. Evic brand new is about R1300 ex battery, crius tank is R500 and batteries are about R200, R2000 without the juices. I'm looking for R1500 for the complete set below:

1x eVic mini mod black with 18650 (1800mah) battery - 4 months old
eVic-VTC Mini - Joyetech
1x original mega one tank - this came with the mod
1x evic mini red and black sleeve
1x puff v2 tip - still new
1x crius obs tank in silver - this is the 3rd revision with the twisted messes decks I think it's called. Super simple deck to build on for some phenomenal clouds and thick flavor. This is 1 month old.

I'm based in southern suburbs. Can meet up if needed. Please PM me your number or email address and I'll forward you pics. I'm doing this off my phone so unable to attach images.

There are 2 minor scratches on the mod from when I over tightened the tank and tried to remove it. It has been removed now, tank is still perfect condition and works but its been replaced with the obs crius tank.

I have the boxes for everything except the battery lol.

I'll even throw in a few bottles of juice that I'm not using anymore. Think I have complex chaos yogidrip, foggs deli express and vapemob gummy berry plus 3/4 bottle of VG, will even add a 30ml dripper.

Pretty much selling all my gear, its become an expensive hobby for me which I unfortunately need to get rid of before I lose myself entirely in it. I love this little device with this tank, it does VTC up to 600F with Ni, SS and Ti, it also does VW up to 75W and bypass mode. Firmware has been updated to the latest.
The mega one tank takes Ti, Ni and kanthol prebuilt coils, it also allows for buildable coils, but wouldn't recommend that. The crius obs is an RTA and you can build anything on it as the mod is compatible with everything.

Is it really that expensive?
Seems somewhat comparable with normal smoking in SA.

Ha-ha yeah man. Well ecigs arent that expensive, however when you enter the vaping scene there are so many different addons and upgrades and options. Different drippers, different tanks etc.

Anyway, vaping produces more smoke and as such burns through liquid a lot quicker. A bottle ranges from R150-R300 depending on ml capacity. And can last anything from 2days to a week. I was going through 2 bottles a week as I love the taste of the smoke. So spending a fair chunk just on liquid hence me my attempts at selling it before it breaks me hahahah. As for prices of mods (the part connecting the battery to the coil and tank), they can range from R1000 up to R3000 excluding anything else.

If you're looking to just quit smoking, there are plenty of budget friendly devices. If you choose to enter the money pit that is the hobby-ist side of vaping, it's going to murder your wallet. New devices are released pretty much every week, so for some the CUD is a never ending cycle.

Depends. I've spent thousands on hardware but now have a setup I'm sticking with, my costs are now under R 80 per month vs R 1,200 per month on cigarettes. I'd say in total over the last two years I've spent around R 7,500 vs R 20,000 on cigarettes during the same time.

R80 is crazy low.

If I was to go full time I'd need about 3-5 coils a month and that alone could get to R180. No idea what I'd have to spend on liquid yet. Probably 100ml/month.
That could easily be another R660.

If nothing fails otherwise that's around R940.

An unnecessary expenditure for sure.

Cheap cigarettes would be something like R22 x 30 = R660. Something more expensive could easily but R30, making it about 900/month

What crappy coils are you using that they need to be replaced every 20-30ml? For my Atlants 2 I use one coil every 3-4 weeks. For my Kayfun v4 I build when needed and it costs a Rand or two.

If you're going through 100ml per month you should speak to someone about bulk discounts or start mixing your own, it's costing me less than R1/ml to vape.

One coil is R 50, a tank of liquid per day is around R 50. A month on the Kayfun is under R 55, a month on the Altantis 2 is about R 100.

Even when I was a heavy smoker I wouldn't touch cheap kak cigarettes, but even if vaping cost me more than the R 1,200 cigarettes were costing me I wouldn't smoke them. The benefits list since quitting is pretty long...
  • I can breathe properly
  • I don't wake up congested
  • I don't have smoker's cough
  • I can smell what someone three tables away is eating at a restaurant
  • I can taste what I'm eating
  • I no longer smell (or taste) like an ashtray
  • I no longer have yellowing on my index and middle fingers
  • Without increasing my fitness level, I can run about 6x as far without being dead out of breath thanks to greatly improved lung capacity
  • I have basically broken my addiction to nicotine, I'm on 1.5mg liquid and the next batch will be zero nic
  • I have reduced the risk of lung/heart disease etc
Now tell me why you wouldn't pay an extra R 40-280/month (in your case) for that list of benefits unless you plan on stopping altogether?

This was all based on very rough estimates. I stopped smoking many years ago, so for me it would be a new expense.

The idea is to wean the SO off cigarettes, and she often buys the R22 packs. So far results haven't been all that good, I doubt she's taken 100 puffs in the time I've taken 2000...
I'm actually looking for a decent flavour she might like.
If I was to pick up the habit I definitely would have to go the DIY coil and liquid route to justify the expense, but I don't know enough about the various components just yet.

It's an interesting coming from a non-smoker side. I can definitely feel it's affecting my body, but the effects aren't nearly as bad as 'analogs'.

Hahah, seems like a full discussion thread (don't mind as its allowing people to read more into Vaping).

For me, i was spending about R200 a month on coils (3) and I used to buy about 200ml - 250ml a month at R150 each so about 5 or so bottles a month (R750). Thats R950 per month on maintenance basically. Then if a new tank or dripper would come out i would give that a bash etc. Was about to buy the RX200 now before i decided to stop. After i bought the Crius RTA though, i haven't had to buy a new coil or wick since as ive just been building my own so those costs have come down. however liquid costs went up as this tank drinks juice.

I've never been a smoker ever. I just enjoy my hub and Vaping gave me the same taste and feeling as the best of hub sessions. And yes i agree the list of benefits for vaping is long and definitely beats normal cigarettes. It just becomes quite expensive if you aren't normally a smoker nor were you in the beginning hence the reason for selling so that I can see some of pennies again.

Anyway, back to the topic. Someone is coming today to take a look, so putting the sale on hold unless he bails today.

Thing with vaping is not to buy every mod and tank out there. Choose somin u comfortable with for all day everyday vaping and a flavor of choice. Dont get side tracked by all this new fancy blah blah. They all the same at the end of the day, just a different look. The biggest mission is to charge and carry batteries...

Is this still available?

Hey replied to your PM.

This kit is already sold, but im going to be selling my other set now as well.

Wismec Releaux 200W, but not the DNA chip version with 3 Sony 2500mAh batteries (top class batteries) coupled with my mutation V4 RDA :).
