Hey guys, I was hoping someone might point me in the right direction. I have an ASrock z97 Extreme 4 - amazing motherboard, love the chipset - it blew a RAM channel. So im running 2x dd3 4gb sticks in single channel now, which is frustrating, but also cant upgrade the ram properly. Replacing the entire setup with an upgrade kit is going to be minimum 8.5k for anything worthwhile, which I feel is unnessecary and I will end up with a B chipset. The replacement board for mine hangs around R7000 on it's own, which is wild.

Does anyone know of someone that could attempt to repair the channel? Is it even worth it? I contacted Corex, the distributor for Asrock, but the don't repair boards. It's obviously also way out of warranty and I bought it off here as an RMA board a few years ago anyway. I'm trying to not give up on it.

Thank you kindly.

In terms of this level of repair. Two names that have been mentioned recently are GPUWorx and PC Techies. Haven't use either of them myself though.
