My apologies if I am out of turn, but there is no such thing as triple channel ram. What is required is that the dimms must be installed in sets of 3 , one per channel.

Eg 3 times 4Gb dimms or 3 times 8Gb dimms. Given that most dimms (not all ) are sold in pairs, you may want to source 3 pairs of either 2Gb or 4Gb dimms. You can then install across the three channels.

2 sets of 3 yes 4g or 2g dimms. Triple channel is the same as dual or quad channel dimms have to be the same
