[MENTION=29769]ChazySA[/MENTION] All 2.5" SSDs are "Mac friendly". The problem is that most Mac's are not 2.5"SSD friendly.

So Macbook Pros 2012 (iirc) and before take standard 2.5" drives as well as standard RAM.
Apple then went and only made all their products only compatible with their brand.
