Hi all
So getting rid of some stuff i am no longer using,
I have the below that i want to part with,
Just to note a few things on this setup which the previous owner did not let me know before i bought it,
The tx base works fine , the power cable was cut and replaced with another cable, so its got duct tape joining the two cables, i will neaten that up
The one port on the base doesnt work, so i use a USB3 hub which i will include for the pedals to work
The pedals is missing one of the support arms, so i have a steel plate with screws to hold it up, aswell he had covered it in this like sandpaper material for extra grip which works kinda nice, i think its like skateboard grip tape ( just dont drive barefoot )
The base clamp does not have the screw mechanism, thus i put a straight long bolt which you can tighten which locks the base into place,
The main wheel it came with was damaged so a 3d printed connector which mounts to base is already on the wheel, however NONE of the buttons work due to the cable not being in the wheel anymore , i have that cable if you want to try connect it , i have tested and does work, however the 3d printed connector has no place for that cable to sit in to make stable contact
I have made a 3d printed f1 style rim made of 3mm allumunium and a joystick controller, which came out pretty well, and works great for GTE racing in assetto corsa games, came out nice with suede grips and all the buttons work and paddle shifters.
The shifter is missing the clamp which locks it to a desk, so i have used a bracket thing i have made that i used to clamp to my desk ( it works, not the most ideal but works fine ), i can add that with, would require you drilling a screw into your desk to lock this in place though.
Overall the whole setup works great, i had no issues when using it, and everything works fine, just the above was a bit of a setback which werent disclosed to me when i bought it before covid times. and i paid quite alot for this setup and the seller had more excuses that Eskom
