Hey guys, so I've been playing with this idea for a while now, and finally decided to go for it.
A friend and I host a local podcast, called "The Odd Topic Podcast" where we talk about mysteries, interesting facts, some science stuff, the paranormal, and what not. A pretty interesting show if I do say so myself, with a nice touch of humour.
There was a thread on carb that really made me realize how many of you have experienced something strange, so now's your chance to get it out there.
For our final episode of the season (to be aired some time in November) I'd like to do a listener-submitted segment, where we play some recordings of first-hand unexplained experiences in South Africa.
If any of you are keen, please let me know and we can go from there, I think this could be a lot of fun. All that will be needed is a recording (phone recording is fine) of you introducing yourself, and your story.
------------
A bit of background for those interested:
We started this podcast a year ago, as little more than an excuse to get together once a week and have a few beers... but we've kept it up and are having a lot of fun with it.
At the time of writing, we just passed 1000 listens and recently placed in the top 100 new podcasts in the RØDE podcasting competition (even won some neat gear). We started off quite amateur (as all do), but have really been focusing on editing and episode quality (particularly this season) to produce some better content. It still remains a hobby at this point, but we have a consistent listener base that is only growing.
So if that interests you, send me your story! You can check us out on all major podcasting platforms (spotify, apple podcasts, google podcasts, and some others)

Cheers!
