I need to get internet.

I would prefer if I did not have too take a normal ADSL contract for 24 months because I cannot get the LTE deal since I fall outside the coverage zone.

You know that Telkom Uncapped is not really “uncapped” they have a FUP i think of 100GB cant remember.

If i was you i would get a LTE router modem and get like 100GB capped and then for R50 per month u can get 500GB nyt cap from 00:00 till 07:00 for your downloads.

I've used 350gigs on my uncapped. I think the FUP you are referring to is on torrents and news servers and even then, you don't get capped, your speeds are dropped to 4mbps

The FUP is 300GB & 50GB for Torrents from what I see on the MyBroadband thread. I already use the 500GB Nighttime but, I want something for during the day and 100GB is around R1000 so the uncapped is better even if I do somehow go past the FUP.

Telkom uncapped LTE is actually soft-capped --- 300GB at untrottled speed + 50GB at 4mbps, thereafter unmetered data usage at 2mbps, torrent download allowance is at 50GB.

I thought it could dropped lower than 2mbps after you hit the softcap so that would be great if it just stayed at that speed.

The R50 deal for 500GB has stopped already (5th of May 2018) sadly.
