Intrested to see what those who survived the 2021 crypto crash or previous crashs are doing right now.

Are you still mining and holding?
Are you mining for profitability?

This is my 3rd crash, and i'm doing fine all things considered.

Lost some in the FTX debacle.

I had recently deposited a big alt bag into FTX, like 2 weeks before the fraud was revealed. Was not able to withdraw it before it went tits up.
Couple of hundies all gone.

We live and learn and stack sats.

fortunately i have my primary business and crypto was always a side hustle that i never made debt for so life just carries on as normal for me, basically just mining and hodling as it stands, will reap the benefits next bull run

For mining to be profitable you need "free electricity". I still trade but stoped mining eth early last year. I doubt there is still any profitable mining unless you get in at the bottom and sell at the top in which case you could just as well trade or stake

The old oom sitting next to me has $50k in ripple, he believes one day he can cash out especially if they win the court case. I don't know who convinced him to do this but yeah that's a hard gamble. And he doesn't have a lot of pension that will pay out one day so I really want to convince him to move his assets but he seems very sure of his case.

I would rahter be safe than sorry if I was in his shoes. If they lose that case that currency will probably be worth close to zero. But anyhoo they probably have a good chance of winning so maybe he will cash out one day, risk big to win big.

If this is his pensions its not worth the gamble and he needs to see a registered finanical advisor ASAP. I am a big believer in Crypto but if it all went to zero I would loose a lot of money but my lifestyle and pensions wouldn't chanhge. Crypto is still speculation and not an investment untill proper regulation is in place.
