It's just the American theme of the thing which sometimes gets me, I don't think in those terms. There may be things on their people have never heard of.

The American thing is huge with their puzzles. Even though I know this, it still takes me by surprise at times! The amount of US sports knowledge required for the mini crossword frustrates me often!
