I am not using it as much as I wanted. Maybe played like 10-20 hours max. Really cool experience, but I don't have time to play as much as I wanted to and now it is not being used.
I mostly used this with my gaming laptop, over Steam VR. Played HL Alyx, VR Chat and a few other titles (Kyak VR, Gorilla tag etc), no problem, works without any problems.
The facial interface (removable) plastic bracket, got a small crack as I was cleaning it, however, I fixed it with superglue and used it like that with no issues (This is the plastic bracket, not the headset itself
). HOWEVER, I replaced it anyways with a much better one, the BOBO VR Facial interface with vent for anti fogging, valued at R1200+ (See images attached, its still brand new). The BOBO facial interface is brand new, and I only bought it recently, but I will send you both obviously, because both work just fine.
The cable is an expensive one, a 6m, heavy duty, thick USB-C to USB-C cable. The way I used it was from my laptop, up in the air onto the light fixture and back down to the headset. Never gave me any issues, still in perfect condition. Valued at R1400.
The Elite strap that I bought is a massive improvement over the original flimsy headstrap and is super comfy. I will obviously still package the original crappy head strap, but the one I have on now is 10x better and way more comfortable, valued at R1200.
I also have a brand new carry case, however the headset does not fit in it with the elite strap. I will place all additional accessories and cable in the carry case.
Still have the original boxes and all, with the glasses spacer and controllers. Will throw in new Energizer batteries for the controllers.
Here is a video of me playing Half Life Alyx with this headset.
I will try to package it as best I can, if you want it shipped, but it will take up some space, roughly the size of a Medium sized PC case, because of all the extras, and the larger elite headstrap and BOBO facial interface. Not sure what it would cost to ship, will have to price that seperately, but I will make sure it is packaged good. We can work something out, perhaps aramex pickup, or Pudo if it fits.
I will post more images today or tomorrow. Feel free to ask any questions. Also, as per carbonite buyers guide, here is an image of my username, date and the goods. But feel free to ask for another photo with timestamp and I will do so.
