This is a warm standby inverter I purchased and wired in as a backup for my current Solis inverter in the event of a failure of my main inverter where my main inverter would need to go in for repair under warranty. I'm currently looking at moving my main inverter from the Solis 5kW to an 8kW inverter and then make the Solis my warm standby.
The SolaxBox for sale is essentially a server rack with the separate rack mounted modules slotted in (Control Box, Inverter, Charger,MPPT etc). This has hybrid blending capabilities. The Control Box contains all the breakers and meters to control feedback etc.
Sale does not include any Lithium or other chemistry based batteries. I have run this inverter using a LifePower 200ah 48v battery and that was literally plug and play and comms established. I'm guessing the same would likely apply for most other BMS based batteries. It's quite an inverter with amazing functionality and kinda looks nice too in it's own rack I reckon
This will need to be collected using a bakkie and a buddy or 2. This will not fit in a hatchback or sedan.
