Hey guys, last year I graduated with a BSc Information Technology Degree from the University of Johannesburg, and this year I am completing my BSc Honours Information Technology.

With regards to my Bachelor's Degree:

I majored in Computer Science and Informatics, sub-majored in Mathematics and completed one semester of Business Management and another in Information Management.

I have done object-oriented programming, databases, networking, web development, e-commerce, advanced data structures, and system architectures.

I have gained experience in the following Languages/Development Environments:
- C++
- Visual Basic
- Java
- SQL
- HTML and CSS
- C# and ASP.NET
- Assembly
- PHP

With regards to my Honours Degree:

I have completed / currently completing the following subjects:

- Information Security
- Biometrics
- Ethical and Legal Aspects of IT
- Graphics
- Information Security in the WWW
- Critical Information Infrastructure Protection
- Network Information Security

You should decide if you want to be a developer and look for openings in that field. Find companies and approach them.

Or do you want to move into IT infrastructure.

You have a breadth of courses. It covers a wide range of skills. Good job.

Maybe give OfferZen a try? A lot of my colleagues seem to have gotten in through them. I never personally used them but If I remember correctly from the people I spoke to they give you a test to gauge your current level of experience and then give your profile to different companies, if you get placed they used to give you some nice rewards but it might just be a t-shirt now haha.

(Their T-shirts are awesome, I'm still trying to get my hands on one)
