PC players, how is the server stability now that official launch is underway ? rubber banding and login issues ?
I am in Centurion, Frogfoot & Seacom/Wondernet het stable 180-184ms

During server slam had horrible latency though.

Games performed at stable 90fps with AMD FSR 2 and quality settings on 1440p on my GTX 1070

Upgraded to RX 6800XT and capped it at 164 fps with AMD FSR on max quality settings and it's rock solid.

Bought standard edition and it's worth it IMO. but would love some local servers which might happen on Microsoft Azure servers in the future hopefully.

Bought the game on PC for my wife and I to play. No couch co-op support. I've only ever played previous iterations on Xbox, it never dawned on me that it would be different.

My wife sat there excited, controller in hand, telling me tag her in, me having to quickly come up with a story where this is somehow the games fault and how I'm not an idiot. Good times.

After losing an argument with a guy from Blizzard's support I eventually ended up buying the game again for xbox.

Great game so far, worth every penny of the R3k it cost me haha.

Got it for the Playstation, and the lag was just crazy, characters popping in and out of the screen, dash made me shoot to another part of the level, really weird stuff. Virtually unplayable for the last two nights, and our internet connection was rock solid

Strange cause my tjom joined me from psn last night and he had a great time, on tuesday he had slight rubberbanding when moving into a new area

At one point I thought the game needed a patch it looked so bad. My reanimated skeletons also kept popping in and out of the screen, and have this weird "wreath like" icon above their heads sometimes (is this part of the game?) Will try again tonight and hopefully get a more stable server

After the server issues was sorted I am really enjoying the game, solid 160fps on the old 3080 at 1440p. Ping ranges from 180 - 220ms

Wow that is remarkably good performance @ 1440p on a GTX 1070.
What overall GFX settings was this one ? High ?

I guess then on my 2060 Super i would easiily be able to get 144fps @ 1440p or higher.

In the prev. betas and server slam found the game to be very system memory intensive, with usage being as high as 12GB at times.

Also going Standard as found that to be the best value for money, unless you have serious FOMO and could not wait to play.

Regarding the local servers, that has been going on since release of D3, been official petitions and please for Blizzard, but never realized.

That however would be really nice, and maybe when the MS buyout and merger happens that can indeed become a reality and worth pursuing again.

Been playing since the early access went live, will probably be finishing the campaign this evening and I can honestly say I have not had one single issue thus far. Super excited to get started on the end game. So far, hands down miles better than D3 (which I quite religiously invested 10 years of my life to)

Geez now i don't feel so bad about my 5 years with the game.

D3 was by no means a a bad game i feel, just D4 i feel is a more community focused game, like they learnt from their mistakes and took the best of all the games and made it into D4.

From the get go i also loved it more, it just felt right.

Without any spoilers is the story way better this time around ?
Quite the lore nerd and that was a bit of a disapointment for me with D3

Just started playing D4 lastnight, Think I'm already addicted. Using a mouse though is Bad on the wrists. Ordered a controller, I did need one anyway.

D3 was brilliant, loved the seasons and looking forward to see how they're to do seasons in D4

The story itself is way better, the last few quest all have this feeling of "epicness" and the fact that the side quests tell so much of the history of Diablo, it just makes it all that more engrossing - so yeah in my opinion a lot more lore than D3

Rubber banding can apparently be addressed by disabling "use browser hardware acceleration" in the blizzard launcher.

I have not tested this myself.

Edit: typed enable rather than disable

Since I know nothing about battle pass and seasons and whatever, can someone explain what these are and what I will be missing out on if I dont buy the ultimate edition which I cant afford anyway?

This should provide some clarification.

Nice beginners guide
(PS: Avoid if you want to figure the stuff out yourself, might also contain spoilers)

Unless you really care about cosmetics I doubt the paid season pass will be a must have.
Unless they change what you can get from it and you end up getting equipment like in Destiny 2 for example, otherwise save your money rather.
We will only know this mid July give or take when the 1st season launches however.

Hi all, so I started leave today, but I am busy leveling a new char - i'm looking for people to help me XP farm a dungeon (mainly to level up to 50)

Whose available?

I must say I prefer the rogue over the sorcerer, my sorcerer is level 37 and I have setup a nice chain lightning build that really works, but overall my rogue just rapes with the twisting blades. I only play rogue when my tjom joins me though so he ‘s only level 22

Honestly I can’t see myself playing the necromancer, even though I heard it’s pretty op I just don’t like the undead at all lol

Or maybe Necro? Did anyone enjoy playing with the necro in d3??I

I am currently playing a Necro in D4 (level 44), really fun to play and does a shitload of damage

Kinda the same boat.

Started Necro as i loved it in the beta, played mostly minion build and it was fun up till a point, but then became a little boring.

Also doing Rogue now as main and absolutely loving the past paced gameplay, reminds me a lot of the DH in D3

The Sorc is pretty dull until 50+ If you can power through the mindless chain lightning / arclash, iceshard is hella fun, but only doable from 50 onwards

So...this is going to probably be controversial but...is anybody else feeling the game and grind is kinda boring and monotonous? Not entirely a mind blowing and more importantly a new experience. Maybe just me and my lack of dedication to anything gaming these days? 🤷‍♀️

Gaming burnout contributes alot to that, I’d say currently it’s on the level diablo 3 was for me. I don’t think we will ever hit the highs of diablo 2 again cause remember back then it was mind blowing and we were very young
