Hi guys. I've been a Counter Strike player since the 1.6 days, and it's gone steadily over all these years. When CS:GO came out I duly bought a copy, played a few hours and then, due to life, shelved it.
December 2020 was a bit of a tough month, my very pregnant wife had to take a very sick kid to hospital in the middle of the COVID pandemic to see why he keeps getting bouts of "struggling to breathe" and it was a logistical and financial nightmare. Because of that, during that week, I was looking for some "time out" and decided to pick up CS:GO again, simply because I was looking for the distraction.
A very emotional and completely tired me took up the game with around 300 hours on my profile. I played during that time, and a few times after that, to finally get myself a rank (I've never played Competitive before then), and I recently started making video clips of my gameplay. I don't play a lot, but often when we're sitting in mandatory meetings where I don't participate (but still have to sit in) I'll fire up CS:GO and play a few minutes here and there.
I installed my mouse's software (Steelseries) and it came with a clip capturing tool, which I first used to create a super long CS:GO montage of my first gameplay, but realized quickly that shorts are more fun, and I believe will attract more viewers.
Which brings me to here. I'm asking if anyone's interested, please take a look, let me know what you think and if you want, subscribe! I don't spam, I don't post BS and what you see is what you get.
As a PS, I'm NOT very good and I'm learning as I go along. I got my first rank a few months back as a Gold Nova Master, which changed to MG1 not too long ago before being upped to MG2 a month or so ago, on my 16th Competitive win. I've got around 600 hours on my profile now, so don't expect Pro Plays!
Anyway, link to the playlist I'm currently pushing the shorts to is here. Enjoy!
