I never abused these headphones - the earpad and headband wear is due to normal usage.

I've got the same cans, they're really decent, I'm very happy with them! Same thing is happening to mine and I'm still using them, no problems. (And mine have been abused [emoji14] )

New pads cost around R450 for the original Sennheiser set methinks. These are almost R2000 new now so even if you replace the pads after a while it's worth it.
