AFAIK it is identical, they were made specially for massdrop so they are more affordable. The driver/pads/tuning is the same as the HD650.

Drop will only show you actual info if you are logged in. @VandaL linked you correctly but if someone who isn't logged in visits it just defaults to the Drop homepage unlike the former Massdrop site used to.

You would probably have the most success searching Youtube for the Sennheiser HD 6XX (which is a legit massdrop only model name, this isn't XX as placeholder for a more specific model name) as tons of people have done rather favourable reviews on them.

But VandaL is correct, they are Sennheiser HD650 based.

Bottom line is that if you have something decent to drive them, the HD6XX is probably the best way to spend R3k on headphones today. IMHO there is nothing else out there at this price that will compare in terms of sound quality.
