Hope you got a dedicated sound card to drive these babies?
I purchased the exact same pair as in the OP a few months back. The day after they arrived I had to purchase a Sound Blaster Zx. Thankfully there was a Zx going on Carb which saved me a little.

Flipping awesome headphones. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah I do :p
Iv been through so many headsets its really not even funny, I cant find the one best suited for my needs.
Just bought myself the Corsair Void 7.1 wireless, but that will probably go up for sale soon.
Those Kingston Hyper-X cloud 2's look pretty nice aswell but I havn't seen them in person where as the Sennheiser's I have and thats when the cud kicked in.

So not sure if I'm allowed to ask but if you were to buy new , who supplies these headsets in sa

Where did you buy them from?

I bought my PC363D from audiowarehouse.co.za but it seems like the site is down and redirects to afrihost.com

Please will you share some feedback once you've checked them out. I'm really keen on some constructive first hand experience. I have these cans in my sights as soon as CUD budget is available.

They really are amazing.
Iv had alot of headsets in search for the perfect one for me. As all of the ones iv had have had too many cons. Basically just not fitting my head and ears lekker. These cover my ears completely which is what iv been looking for. They are super comfortable and dont put pressure on your ears and head when playing for hours. And especially when wearing glasses you dont get that pain under your ears. That is my main reason why they are perfect. The sound clarity is also reallt good. Not as bassy and full as some of the other "gaming" headsets but i think the clarity outweighs that, you apparently need a semi decent sound card to get the most out of them, im using the xonar dgx and its pretty decent on 8 channel 5.1. With pcm enabled. Gaming sound is tops, can hear each footstep and enemy mistake from a mile away. So i definitely think they are worth the leap if you are as fussy and pedantic as i am. The only thing i dont like about them is i should have gotten the black ones, the mic takes a while to enable again once you muted it by turning it upwards and its hard to get used to another wiree headset. Other than that they really are amazing. Hope that gives you some closure and lets the cud wrath raise inside you lol

I think you need a 150Ohm sound card or amp to drive them but you don't need a sound card since they are good ol stereo.

At least this is true for my Xonar Xense which is based on the PC363 or something.

You can't go wrong with the G4me one. I have been through quite a few gaming headsets and I can definitely say my search stopped the moment I listened to these. I run them off a xonar d2x. The sound is amazing. They have a nice warm tone and their clarity is better than any other "gaming" headset I have come across. Absolutely no distortion even at full tilt. Soundstaging is really good thus your positional audio is accurate. I play mainly first person shooters and often I receive a comment "how did you know I was there" lol. You hear everything. I don't have any issues with the bass. I feel it is enough. It is a good all round headset. I have come across some headsets that sound really good in game, but then you load a song and its unfulfilling. The g4me one sounds great no matter what you play through them.
