Hello everyone,
I'm facing a unique challenge with my Google Pixel 6. The battery has unfortunately swollen (a 'spicy pillow', as some might say), and due to the rarity of Pixel devices in South Africa, finding a local repair shop seems unlikely. I'm contemplating a DIY approach by purchasing a replacement battery kit.
My first thought was to order from iFixit, but they don't offer shipping to South Africa. To overcome this, I'm considering using forwarding services like myUS or AGS to get the kit here. However, I'm uncertain about a few critical aspects:
Also, if you have alternative suggestions that might be more efficient or cost-effective, I'm all ears. Maybe there's a better approach I haven't considered.
Thank you in advance for your help and insights!

- Shipping Restrictions: Do myUS or AGS permit the shipment of lithium-ion batteries? I'm aware that such batteries can have strict shipping regulations.
- Import Laws: What are South Africa's import regulations regarding lithium-ion batteries? I want to ensure that I don't run into legal issues or unexpected costs.
