Sorry op please post pics of box , all note 7 units were recalled as the issue is so common and the new units ( noon exploding ) are marked with a blue S afaik

The problem is not common. It's was a small percentage with defective charging circuits that cause batteries to explode. Samsung just recalled globally just to eliminate phones that were exported or imported from that an affected region.

All the phones with SDI batteries was recalled which is about 70% of phones. Also they intend to wireless disable the ones not exchanged to prevent any further issues.

They have sent out a software update that blocks the note 7s that haven't been exchanged from charging beyond 60%
