Notes:

TL;DR:
This monitor requires a warm-up time during cold weather. Now that spring has started, the issues have disappeared and it works without issue. It's very subject to the ambient temperature of the room it's in. In the colder months, it exhibits artifacts at first startup and I have to wait for it to warm-up and sort itself out. Price is down below.

This monitor suffers from cold start-up issues. I have been through one winter with this monitor, so I've only found out recently.
Now that the weather is getting warm, the issues have disappeared, but they'll be back in colder weather.
Once it warms up, it works perfectly in games and all other applications.

This warm up time can take anywhere from seconds up to 5 minutes, during which you'll see vertical (and some horizontal) banding such as:

JlBciJy.jpg

(not the monitor, but close enough to get an idea of what's happening)

I thought I'd open it up and see if any of the capacitors were wonky, but this problem seems to be panel related as per comments on:

There's reddit threads with some other users suffering the same or similar problems.

So because no warranty and due to the warm-up problem (which I'm being VERY up-front about), the current asking price is R2000 (neg).

The remedy to try running at 120hz didn't really work for me and I'm running on DisplayPort. It's too warm now to test other solutions anyway (like HDMI, 100hz, etc...) :ROFLMAO:

Price dropped to R1000 and on hold for @CreepyGoo.

You guys, I can't toss this monitor because it still works and game's well, but at the same time I can't say it works flawlessly. Nor can I guarantee any future reliability.

Dropping the price accordingly because it's a gamble for sure. :D

SOLD to @CreepyGoo !
