Seems, like many other manufacturers (not only in tech), Samsung has always been giving us their crappy made/inferior product.
In this instance its their chipset that has more heating and battery issues then the Snapdragon they provide to the US. You may not fine these mentioned in a few of the social media influencers (or whatever they called) as most of the time it's just mentioned they test the snapdragon version.
Another issue with this is instead of being able to use a FM radio (I know a niche market maybe) for news, we stuck with using data on the phone, whereas snapdragon has a tuner (no data required)
See the links below from reddit regarding the S20 exynos. In some results its inferior to the previous flagship snapdragon (855).
I know some of these tests dont have a discernable real life effect but the major one is a way way inferior battery life.
