[Wanted] Samsung 65" Series 8 UHD TV

OLEDs give perfect black hence better contrast and no irritation of grey areas like edge lit or even full array Samsung's but the longevity of the OLED panels haven't been established yet. Samsung pips OLED with its 1000Nit brightness levels and you honestly can't top Samsung's quantum dot aka nano crystal colors. It wins hands down on color against OLED. I would go with a full array Samsung backlit unit like the JS9500 or KS9800 over OLED. Those blacks get damn close to OLED levels

Yes that's correct. A bit pricey and a total pity it doesn't come in a 65". The JS9500 was FALD and was the flagship 2015 TV hence I expected the KS9500 to have replaced it as the new flagship but Samsung launched the KS9800 a little later which was honestly a little shady on their part.
I would love to get the JS9500 but can't find any anywhere in 65". Found one at 78" but it's over 100k. Insane

Packaging? None - box was too big to keep

As an owner of a Samsung and a LG UHD, albeit the smaller size, I can honestly say the LG is superior in every way to the Samsung. I would have thought that would be the same for the larger sizes. In my head that makes sense

Go have a look at the new Hisense ULED range that was released this year the 65 inch version(new model is 65m7000) is getting better reviews than the Samsung equivalents for the first time.
