Just my 2c worth, I have this CPU and I can attest that despite the low-mid end placing in the Ryzen line it offers pretty decent performance. I can happily overclock mine to 3.8Ghz @1.3V which runs under 75 degrees C even in synthetic stress test loads (stock AMD air cooler). In gaming with a heavy CPU load it's closer to 70. That will get you around 750cb in CineBench R15.

Very good 4C8T CPU for the money.

Unfortunately not. Still using the motherboard. But the AM4 motherboards are very cheap new lately.
