Hi Guys.

Im in desperate need of help. I have been racking my brains out the last 12 hours. I can only get 4 cards working out 6 at any time in my rig. I have TB250 motherboard with 6 msi rx570s.

Im using the modified drivers where you take crimson 16.11.5 and copy the info file contents to 17.5.1, and then manually install from windows. No luck.

Ive used ddu uninstaller, and repeated using 16.10.1. Same story.

I have updated my bios. I have fresh installed windows.

The moment i plug in a fifth card three of the cards get the yellow triangle in device manager. If i have 6 in still three has orange triangle.

Has anybody come across this and can advice me on what to do?

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay :D :D :D :D :D

also make sure you block the auto update for amd drivers for the tb250 in windows if you using not linux. i used ddu and driver block and no issues after that.

If you're building a dedicated mining rig, why not install Linux instead of Windows?

Basically just because Im not familiar with the os. Also I heard you can only undervolt through bios mod which sounds like shlep to get a card stable to flash it over and over. Talking under huge correction though. Also Ive heard claymore give substantially higher hashrates, don't know if claymore is available on linux. But please elaborate, would you recommend it?

No idea man, I just heard that Linux is better for dedicated mining rigs :p

i hear a lot of. guys use ethOS, but apparantly if you don't know linux it becomes a hassle to setup.. but i have never tried it and also you have to purchase a copy per rig.....

Claymore works well in Linux, but unfortunately Afterburner or an equivalent isn't available in Linux, thus you'll have to CiY (code it yourself) if you want to overclock, undervolt or a different fan profile.

This is why Nicehash works so well, Neat copy of win10 + Afterburner and you getting 27/28 Mh/s no hassles. Get paid weekly into your Luno account and boom profit :)

You'll have the same issue with nicehash if windows dont recognise the cards. Nicehash uses claymore also. Anyhow it was a bios setting. No sweat.
