Yo guys.

So i found this game and i just need to tell ya'll about it. Does not look like much people knows about this on here since i found no posts about it really.

Games Name : Rust
It is a steam game and is very cheap (was R52 with the steam sales): Link

Its an awesome game. You basicly start out as a naked dude with a rock and torch on a randomly generated island with 0-500+ players on each server. The goal then is to go farm wood or stone with your rock to start building a base you can live in. You can then craft better tools to farm Wood, Stone, Metal Ore, Sulfur Ore and some more. You can also kill animals and skin them for there goodies and you can make some cloth or leather gear. You can proceed to go farming barrels on the raids or you go to Rad Towns. Barrels drop stuff like sewing kits to make better gear, parts to make guns and explosives and lots of stuff.

To craft any good stuff you will need the blueprint to craft it. To obtain the blueprints you will create a workbench and put some Scrap in it(that you farm from barrels) and that will create you a random blueprint. The other way of obtaining blueprints is by killing people and taking there shit then make a research bench and you can put the item in there with some scrap and it wil delete the gun and make you a blueprint to learn. You also need to learn the diffrent kinds of ammo and clothes and everything really.

You get lots of different guns like a Revolver, Python Revolver, Semi-Auto pistols, Custom SMG, Tommy-gun, AK, LR-300, M249 and lots more Ranging from spears and bows to big machineguns and rockets to blast open other peoples bases and steal all there loot.

The point of the game is basicly to hoard as much shit as you can. Stacking your home full of chests to put your sweet loot in. So you will later on start making rockets, rocketlaunchers, Explosive 5.56 rifle ammo(can shoot down doors), C4, Satchel Charges and some other stuff to break down other peoples bases and this creates really good PvP if the player is online.

PvP is really good in this game. You can find yourself chopping down a tree or farming a Ore and then all of a sudden arrows start falling next to you or bullets start flying around you or someone throwing you with a rock lol anything can happen at any time. Huge clan PvP battles breaks out all around you the whole time you playing.

The game is incredible and really does not get the attention it needs.

I've got this game with 2k+ hours lots of fun, lots of salt but best to play in a group as its really time consuming hence i stopped playing. However the dev's are the best out atm imo. They have a list of what is going to be done and it gets done!

Game was big when it came out locally. But due to lack of updates, and moving too slow with other games like PUBG the community dwindled a bit.
AFAIK it got a big update not too long ago, and got the people who played it excited again

If i'm not mistaken Rust gets an big update once a month.

I've got this game with 2k+ hours lots of fun, lots of salt but best to play in a group as its really time consuming hence i stopped playing. However the dev's are the best out atm imo. They have a list of what is going to be done and it gets done!

Yes devs are awesome i love the devblogs. The people on this game is the most salty pieces of shit you will ever find but that makes the game fun to play
I also try to play modded as much as possible since i can only play after work and don't have much time.

BUT

2v7 is not fun on any game......

Also ALL the local servers are taken over by clans who play 8 hours a day everyday which make it impossible for people that have jobs to even create a decent base.
And they play during the day when no one else is online and they off-line raid all your bases...

European servers are more fun. But with more fun comes more lag.

Try playing modded. They increase the rates by like x5 or x10 then its nice to play and much more fast past

I play on local servers like Silk and Intoxicated and its not as bad as your saying it is. I play Duo with my friend and we are keeping up. Have not been raided whole wipe.

Its possible it was the time of year I played and the servers were just filled with clans. Havnt played in quite a while.

ok that's nice you should give it i try again the game is really nice now. It was a peice of shit game last year still. It got fucking amazing start of this year.

BTW also less hackers. No more hackers shooting you behind walls and flying and going through walls and shit lol. They fixed all that and its not possible to do that anymore .

Had my fun in Rust and then moved on, got tired of getting kak'd on by clans all the time, so then moved to modded solo/duo/trio servers, that leveled the playing field, but Rust is a game where if you're not online farming/playing then you're falling behind everyone else, so you can't keep up with people playing the game for 8+ hours whilst I have to go to work and as for getting offline raided :| My group at the time had 1 epic encounter where another group told us they were coming to raid us and then we ended up having such an epic battle, now that was fun! There was no salt or shit talking during/after the battle, just a good online raid, good times

@Flex Locally our okes are shit. There were some decent okes but majority if they were raided they would leave the server. When we were raided we would just rebuild. I played overseas a few times and its a different ball game. Rustafied was a good server a ton of people at peak time. Miss the game much but waiting for facepunch to release the beta or alpha for their new MMO or something along the lines of that.

Yes you are right Rastafied and Rustymoose those servers are hard as fuuuuuuck. If you open your door to go outside your base your dead lol that is if you even get a chance to farm and build a base

I spent a good portion of my 600 hours on EU servers, and that ping difference makes a difference in a gunfight, but yeah I've had my fun in Rust, just cannot dedicate time to it anymore.

This is very true, its the main reason i went back to intoxicated :/ But was still fun when you vs'ed noobs.
