So I've had this RTX 3090 nearly since launch, and not long after getting it I did the thermal pad mod since the stock pads are terrible and were causing throttling. Was perfect fine after that, until I decided to redo the mod with new pads about a year ago. I started having issue seemingly with contact between the GPU die and the cold plate, leading to fine temps at idle but immediate throttling under load. I purchased new thermal pad recently and did a full new pass with new pads and thermal past, but running into the same issue.
At this point I'm tired of trying to fix this issue so I'm just seeing if anyone else would be interested in try it themselves or purchasing this for another use. Not really sure if there's a demand but that's why it's a feeler. Card is working totally fine otherwise and is a beast I wish I could figure out, just think I'm missing something.
