Item Wanted: Any RTX 2070 Laptop, 15" or 17", I'm not fussed. Rest of the components are not important, as long as they can be upgraded along the way (specifically RAM and SSD / HDD) .
Packaging Essential: Not essential
Desired Age: Under warranty, ideally
Location: Cape Town
Willing to accept a shipped item: Yes
Ballpark/Budget Amount: R25-30K

I see them advertised here and there for around that figure. New ones can be imported from Amazon and Newegg for abour R31-32 new, but I'd be happier with a used one that I can inspect beforehand.

Go for the newer Ryzen 4000 series laptops. They Chow the intel competition

Sure, but I think the bottlenecking for games at least is at the GPU. I doubt any integrated option will contend with dedicated graphics card. For me the processor is largely irrelevant... I'd even take an 8th gen Intel, they're still awesome chips.

Thank you, but with the 3000 series out now, it would feel too "outdated" for me (even though it's still a great card / laptop), so I'll pass.
