Don't know why people will be upset with them, they were already using personal funds at some times and if you need help to try keep things going and it wasn't looking to good at a stage. If you get offered a secure spot with funds, etc its tough not to take considering you need to hope you don't fall into this same situation they were in of late.

So pro esport players dont earn a living to make it their job kindly shed some proper facts for as far as I see overseas based players earn decently on various platforms

The bravado players chose to leave their captain and he respected their decision , what else were they going to do for money ?

Seems some of the articles were false stating that the players used own funds? How did that come about?

@SILTECH786 Just tagging you cause you also seemed to be following them closely so thought you might know a thing or 2.

Did the Bravado PR team release a statement on each players contract and their agreements to the public scene , NO as that is confidential information as like any industry the amount of bullshit people seem to spread

What I did see is Saltymonkey Jana putting her views to slam some trolls then the post got removed from twitter
Time will tell where all this will lead to
But for the present the players who joined denial have work to do so let us give them a chance :)

To clear any confusions up;

Project destiny was never intended to be a long term project, and with failing to achieve the initial goals I doubt (speculation) that there were talks at the time to extend it, but near the end of the timeline they produced some extremely promising results which I feel lead to the scramble for funds.
Bravado setup an indiegogo campaign to raise funds to extend project destiny for 3 more months while 2019 funds from sponsors were finalised. They had secured a sponsor that would fill the remainder of the amount needed which confirmed their place in NA, but didn't make this public. At no point during this time did Bravado fail to cover any of the players expenses, from flights and visa's to rent and food.

The players contracts came to an end this month and had been offered to renew them with the knowledge that BVD would have the funds to stay in NA, as well as being offered a contract from Denial. I imagine the team decided to make the jump to Denial as an NA org will make funding far more secure despite Denial having a shady past of not paying players under old management.

Detrony decided to stick with Bravado as the org is owned by him and his brother Cent, but has not commented much on the situation yet. Does it suck that they aren't with a South African org anymore? Sure, but at least they still have the opportunity to continue representing our scene and raising the flag high. Only time will tell if it was the right move or not.

This was pretty heartbreaking to hear. But people must learn to respect their decision. They have made gaming their careers. Personally I wouldn't want to stick with an org that cannot provide you with enough stability. They got the offer and I for one applaud their decision. They may have a little work on their hands now trying to replace Dimi but I have high hopes :)

Yeah it definitely wont be the same without Dimi, I see PTR is stepping in for the IEM Sydney quals.

No other South African team has made it thus far without obstacles when I popped in at the Bravado stall lastyear Rage time , Dimi stood up from the Q&A session to welcome all guests including myself who is not a csgo hardcore fan that alone speaks of his humbleness for this very team to go all way through to dreamhack and then winning the invitation in india is just WOW in my books by far and yes the players made a decision which in life is important.

Elusive out, BP & Domz in. Probably the strongest South African lineup to date. Stoked to see Domsterr get his opportunity!

After reading this part of Elusives statement made me wonder on a few points to take note of

" I lost my passion for the game
I started playing CS 13 years ago. I had a hunger and a drive to be the best, so I decided to make this my primary focus. Unfortunately my passion was lost somewhere along the way when I started playing full-time'

"I desire a stable and secure lifestyle
There are are many uncertainties with this lifestyle, so I intend to finish my studies and start a life with more stability and security'

1. Does a person from a startup novice to a skilled pro player actually loose their passion for gaming in this scenario CSGO

2. So if an esport lifestyle is not sustainable enough to support ones basics needs in a financial manner why even then consider it to be a profession

All comments welcomed I am rather curious around this
