Hey guys,
I want to upgrade my laptop ram, however i cant seem to find detailed specs of it. All i know that according to CPU-Z and on HP website that its a 1x 8gb ADADA DDR4 2400 1.2v module.
Instead of buying a new pair of identical 8gb modules to get 16gb of ram, it would cost me much less to just add another 8gb module.
So this might be a stupid question, but whats the actual requirements to run ram in duel channel mode? does the ram need to be identical in every aspect in terms of brand, size, latency, capacity/ density, voltage, timings etc?
Im looking at purchasing the following:
advice in this regard would be much appreciated.
