Hey guys howsit going

I recently got myself a Ryzen 7 3700x cpu and paired it with my X470 Pro board from Asus. My previous CPU ran 3200Mhz 1.35v no problem but with the 3700x i am only able to run 3000Mhz at 1.35v.
Any help or advice would be appreciated

Update to the latest bios as it has some memory support updates that should make life easier.

Have you updated the BIOS to the latest one ?
ignore . didn't read above

It's a rather common problem with various AMD CPU's and B450/X470 boards.

My 3600MHz ram is running fine and dandy at 3333MHz on my MSI X470 Gaming Plus. Just needed a BIOS update and all was well.

How many dimms and size ?
I presume you were running a 2nd gen before .
Seen this before where runnnig a 3rd gen gives you different XMP or manual results.

2x8GB sticks in the right slots aswell (2nd and 4th slot). Ran fine with 2nd Gen chip(2700) but not with 3rd Gen chip(3700x)
