Just a heads up to everyone , I confirmed purchase on this laptop, made arrangements with seller, moved my appointments around , and get a SMS’s from seller telling me “it’s sold”.

Just be careful that you don’t think you’ve secured your purchase with him, and cancel any other gadgets you might also be looking at.

That's pretty unfair. No deposit was paid and I work on a cash in hand, first come first served way. There have been situations where people have promised to purchase an item and then they don't pitch leaving me in limbo. If you wanted to secure the item you should have paid a deposit.

It certainly wasn't a clear-cut deal. If it was I would have marked the item as sold and confirmed with him that we had a deal; at no point was that done. Most importantly CaTch21 first wanted to view the item before deciding if he wanted to buy it. If he thought otherwise then I can only apologize to him, the last thing I want to do is upset people.

That sorts it then.
