Item: Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro Deep Gray (basically a windows Macbook)
Age: 2 years
Price: R11 500
Warranty: Not anymore - I can provide the original Proof of purchase/invoice from my online account. I got it while I was living in France.
Packaging: Don't have the box anymore as I wasn't going to travel with it - but I might have some pictures of the original box if that would help lol. I do have the original USB-C charger, tpu keyboard cover and laptop sleeve. + recently got an extra 3-metre braided usb-c to usb-c cable for charging - quite useful as the original one is a bit short but that will be included too. Moreover, I can provide the star screw-driver set that I used to open the lid (once) to add the second SSD in.
Condition: Excellent, 9.5/10. Tiny scratches/blemish on the lid corner if you look hard enough and at an angle. Keyboard and trackpad almost no signs of use (mostly used the plastic tpu keyboard cover).
Location: Brooklyn, Pretoria (Near to Brooklyn mall)
Reason: I got a smaller business ultrabook which is i7, though the irony is that the performance is way worse than the Xiaomi - because my new Thinkpad lives in thermal throttling land.
Shipping: It is possible, I can package it in the box that my new laptop came in. Ichigo can arrange overnight, door to door shipping for a quite affordable price. I'm guessing around R200 but we would need to confirm or you can arrange your own couriers to collect.
Collection: Yes, preferred.

This laptop doesn't thermal throttle like other thin laptops, which only use the turbo boost to open apps for example. So you're able to sustain peak boost speeds almost forever. There are some YouTube videos from tech tablets that will show you can get the same performance as the I7-7700HQ if you want to undervolt as the thermals support it.
I have played GTA V on this back in the day to test the graphics out and it was mostly on high settings and ran quite smooth, probably with two settings lowered.
Perfect if you want a thin laptop to play some games on every now and then, with good battery life and excellent speakers (I get about 7 hours watching Netflix). The full aluminium build in the deep grey colour is very good and is somewhat similar to a MacBook Pro.
