Transport Logistics Software Implementer and Consultant
Qualifications:
A University degree, including (or similar to):
- Electrical/Industrial Engineering
- Logistics
- IT
The candidate’s responsibilities may include inter alia:
- Project management.
- Process mapping and re-engineering.
- Configuration of optimisation software.
- Loading of master data into optimisation software.
- Training.
- Go-live duties.
- Post-implementation support.
- Liaising with optimisation software developers.
- Preparation of documentation and SOP’s.
- Involved in the logic behind new system requirements and development.
Required skills:
- Analytical skills to aid troubleshooting and analysing client requirements.
- Ability to work with a variety of people with varying skill levels, and at times under pressure.
- Ability to be self-motivating and to keep track of all aspects of project work.
- Working knowledge of selected database tools.
- Understanding and working knowledge of IT Operating Systems and networking environments.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word.
- SQL, working knowledge
5 or more years of practical experience preferable.
