I posted about a bottle neck with my 1060 6gb and my 2700x earlier,

Well today I got a 6600 xt, and my performace is only about 10 frames more on average, sometimes dropping down to 23 fps
I'm assuming it;'s the 2700x that is the bottle neck, what do you guys think?

Benchmark video of 6600 xt in cyberpunk:

Benchmark video of 1060 in cyberpunk for those interested:

What resolution are you playing at?
Looking at it from a glance I'd say the cpu could be the culprit.

The 1060 is a lot slower than the 6600xt.
It's roughly the same as comparing the 1060 to the 1080ti if you were looking at the same Nvidia gen.

#edit - If you're getting 10 more fps on average and your average previously was 30, you're then getting over 30% gains which could be in line.

I've seen a 6600 xt run RT ultra with FSR performance** in benchmarks just below 60 fps, so that's why I'm confused

so thats why I'm thinking my CPU is a hectic bottleneck, the GPU usage is also never at 95- 100% usage

I'm at 1080p btw

Those benchmarks you speak of..
Were they with your exact same cpu?

This is a tricky one; with a 3080, TechPowerUp gets 79 FPS on average in Cyberpunk.

This is at "highest quality settings" but they don't elaborate further - I'd guess this isn't with RT on though.

This means that the CPU can actually hit a higher framerate in the game than you're getting.

It feels like there might be something else holding you back. What RAM do you have, how many modules and at what speed are they running? Is the game on an SSD or an HDD?

Also for interest's sake, what happens when you set everything to lowest settings with RT off?

And is it just Cyberpunk getting weirdly low frames?

Cyberpunk is installed on my m.2
Let my launch Cyberpunk and do all low settings, as low as they can go and see the FPS then,
Then I'll do high settings, I'll record both with RIVATUNA on so you can see usage across all cores, etc.

Hey bud
This ain't perfect but play around with this is your GPU usage being capped.
Check this link depends if you select CPU intense or GPU. At 1080p CPU does more heavy living.
In most games I think the CPU bottleneck would matter much less, but cyberpunk really gets some good usage out of CPU's compared to other games. So most of the time it would be GPU-intensive tasks if i were to game.

Also check performance in other games.
