Item Wanted: Any reliable phone running Android 11 or more
Contract/Cash: Doesnt matter
Packaging Essential: No
Desired Age: Doesnt matter
Location: Johannesburg
Ballpark/Budget Amount: Lets say R500 + R20 per day after a month
So. I have an LG V60 bought through Vodacom with insurance. Recently I dropped the phone and it got pretty smashed. Vodacom insurance claims they will replace it in or or 2 working days.
There is two issues with this. The first is that they say they will copy all my content. I have custom apps running and I KNOW no useless techie will be able to do it. There is also banking apps where you need to transfer your primary device.
So my plan is to rent a phone, copy everything I need manually, set this phone as my primary phone on my bankin apps etc.
Then, when I get my phone from VodaCom insurance Im pretty sure its going to be off less quality than the V60 in some way. In the remarkable evwnt that they do give me a good phone, it will take a day or two. However, If they give me some crap phone, its going to be a battle with the ombudsman and what not. All this time Im going to need a daily phone.
This is a perfect opportunity with someone with an Android 11 phone lying around to make aome spare money. i have plenty if references on here; I have even rented a gaming laptop like this before.
Thanks
Eugene
