Hi guys,

I am a long time Division fan and have been playing it for quite some time now.

I recently upgraded to a Gtx 1050ti 4gb(like 3 days ago) and ever since then ive noticed by loading times in game are much longer. For instance, 3 people in my group loading the same map as me , yet they are in shooting before i even load 60%.

Before the upgrade everything was smooth.

I have confirmed all my drivers are up to date and even took the card out and put it back in.

Ive checked the temps the card (and my pc) is running at and all seems fine.

Here are my specs:

I5 - 3450
16gb ram
H61m-k mobo
Gtx1050 ti 4gb(upgraded from 750ti)
650w psu

Any help and info would be greatly appreciated

Thanx

have you tried these? Not directly related to load times but potential solutions.

1. It might be that the 1050 has much more GPU ram than the 750. This means that the game would use larger textures (more detail). More data to load from disk. Drop the texture quality and see if it makes a difference.
2. The other people might have SSDs. A faster GPU will not increase the loading speed in any way.

As noted above i have done all the drivers and redistributable packs.will check game files when i get home(maybe that helps)

The game is already running everything on the lowest settings. What i am not understanding is that with my old GTX 750ti, i played with the same people(we are a group that always play together) and i always loaded the game on par with them. But right after i installed the 1050ti my game started loading slower, when i am loading the map at 60% ,they afe already in the game running around and shooting. It takes atleast 1-2 mins before i actually catch up to them

Eleventh may have a point.... im pretty certain the 750 didn't have 4gb of ram.
Also, look around on the forum for a cheap SSD.... around R500 or so

Yes the 750 ran on 2gb.but could that really be the cause of the game running slower even on the lowest possible settings?

I'm not sure to be honest.... eleventh explanation made sense to me though lol.
Get an SSD.... you'll love it... trust me.
When ever i get into a game on Csgo I'm usually the first or second because of the SSD

Did you uninstall drivers, clean up and reinstall drivers or just updated?

Yeah, no clean install being done also gets my vote for the cause of these issues.

I prefer to do a fresh reload when I do major hardware upgrades such as GPU, CPU or Motherboard, but that's just me ;)

Ok cool , ill try that and keep you guys posted

After a big upgrade, gpu, cpu or mobo, I do a fresh windows.
Not saying that would "fix" your problem but when all else fails give it a try.
Nothing like that clean windows smell :)

Nothing like that clean windows smell :)

Except...you know....a Windows that works without problems and is already set up my way and has all my programs installed.
I hate fresh installs...I mean yeah I'd do one after changing CPU, Mobo or system drive. But the rest of the time I'm happiest if it just keeps on ticking.

I hate putting dozens of hours in with only a restored status quo to show for it. And hey, maybe if it was only reinstalling stuff, but then the 567 PetaBytes of Windows Updates kick in taking somewhere between a week to 933 centuries to download. No gaming done between that, no series or anime watched, I can't even shoot the shit on Carbonite in a decent manner. Resource use goes to hell and you better have a tablet or you aren't getting an electronic goodness for what seems like the next month. And then you finally fire up that first game and get rewarded by being thrown back to desktop because Windows is gonna give you 10 minutes before it has to restart to install updates.
Nu-uh, that fresh Windows smell can go to hell, I'd rather not smell Windows at all and purely chill with various forms of media.

That's what I was saying. I've already installed Windows 10 more times than I can count ;)
Nothing performs like a fresh windows :p

The only fuckup is Windows Store games like Forza Horizon 3 that cannot be backed up.
Installing my new mobo and 7700K now so i'm gonna test a little workaround. I let windows install my store games to D: drive so lets see if it obeys and recognizes the games when I attempt to install them to D: drive on a fresh windows. Here's to hoping :D

The Windows Media Creation tool will blow your mind. It lets you download the latest version of Windows 10 for when you need to reinstall it afresh  :p ;)

That certainly does seem like a rather fantastical piece of software.
Doesn't save me from the fight I always have with Windows regarding drivers though. I know the correct ones, not it, but it always has to fight me and auto-download nonsense.

Ancient stable install still wins.

Ok so drivers cleaned and fresh install done...same problem.infact i think it became worse.

Game still loads extremely long ignored it and did some DZ runs with my friends...object draw distance is up to sh!t....vehicles along the road only have black silhouettes for a good couple of seconds until full colour gets restored. objects on map dont spawn until i cant run anymore and then it spawns and i realise im standing against a crate(thats why i cant run anymore)

i checked the in game gfx settings, everything is still set to low...i set the draw distance to 100% and still had the exact same problem. When i enter the DZ in division i see my health bar dropping , i die and then i see to people appear out of nowhere (they were standing right behind me and i had to run past them to actually have died where i died).

What baffles me is that this card is supposed to be able to run the game at ultra and still get atleast 30fps(according to PcWorld.com)

Im running it at lowest settings possible and still have issues

Right now im feeling quite p!$$3d off about the whole situation

Hmm, haven't the foggiest where CS:GO keeps its settings but they need to be wiped so that the game can re-initialize from scratch.

Is this about Division or CS?
Could be that your drive is going down hill?
Get HDD Sentry, or something alike, and check your hdd health and status.
If you still have your previous gpu, try reinstalling it and see what happens.

Agreed with mnr Doom. Check if your hdd isn't on its way out. Otherwise rma time on the gpu I reckon.

The 1050TI 4G will Run Div On Max 1080P like @ 37FPS.

Maybe try the Clean Windows Install. Your Problems and Be caused by a Driver Clash or Unwanted Software that is Causing Problems.

If a Clean Windows10 install does not Fix your Problems then RMA the Card.

Ok, well im on my 7th day with the card now. Will give the supplier a call and see what happens

I remember now, when i installed the card the first time... On first boot my whole screen was filled with vertical red collumns spaced with black lines, i had to reboot and then it booted fine again
