So PoE2 is coming, mmm what's the feeling here peeps?

PoE II is going to push ARPGs forward with a good clip. From everything I've seen in gameplay footage, they took what worked from PoE I and reworked it to make the game more accessible and not reliant on cookie cutters.

It's worth the $30 admission fee for EA. If you don't want to pay up, wait for full release and play it for free.

Looking forward to it, on the fence to upgrade my Ryzen 1400x so I can actually run it with my 1060 6GB.

Considered doing a full upgrade, but waiting for the new nvidea gpu release and new ryzen cpus.

It looks amazing though, but so far I'll only give it a shot next year when it releases fully. Unless I have some friends that drag me into it.

I'd likely start with a Witch summoner. The mercenary seems great though. Dual wielding two handed weapons os the eventual dream. Having to over powered two handed unique affixes that synergize

I need some help if someone had the same issue which POE2. With my spec'ed PC in my signature, I am getting 50-60 fps. I've done all the settings I can think off in game, but nothing makes a difference. Screens are set to 165hz. So I am not sure if there is a setting in Windows I am perhaps missing? Anyone experienced the same?

I have no issues and I run a 9900K with a 2080ti. You should be streamlining with your specs. I do run Vulkan, I tried DX12 and it gave me issues. Similar to POE1, DX12 gives me issues and I did some research 2 years ago and many people agree to switch to Vulkan...but I don't think it will fix your issue if you are struggling with FPS gains.

Game is good, 40 hours in and game is freaking good.
It gave me way more Diablo nostalgia than any Diablo game has since Diablo 2.
Graphics are really good compared to other titles in the genre and it runs well even on lower and older gen stuff.
Difficulty curve was a bit steep, some of my friends were/are raging to absolute hell and gone. One can't finish their first ascendency, heh! what a loser.

It's not all Sunshine and roses, If you have more than 2 people in a party you spend more time stuck on each other than actually fighting. The unit collision can be brutal af, the dodge mechanic rarely saves you if you get swarmed into a corner.
Other than players bashing heads and unable to move, there is very little to complain about.

10/10 must play if you were really into Diablo 2, There are even a few throwbacks to Diablo 2 in the game as well. It's what Diablo 3/4 should have been.

The biggest flaw so far, is that it made me aware I paid for Diablo 4

Jokes aside, once this gets a full release I imagine it's going to shape the gaming landscape a bit. A free game of this standard, made by a passionate team amidst all these R1,500+ Triple-A titles that feel so soulless and flat.

It's not perfect but for an EA game so far, it's great. Now we have to hope Tencent doesn't get involved and rather sit back and just take their cut

160 or so hours in and its definitely really good, Was a big PoE 1 fan so I might be a bit biased.
I do kinda hope they "slow down" the endgame content a bit more, perhaps have options to make rares or some such even tankier? Just worried were gonna get PoE part 2 instead of PoE 2.
Also my god, searching for citadels, I don't know if Im just unlucky or theres a certain path to follow that I'm not seeing, but i have like somewhere between 150-200 maps completed and havent seen a single one yet.

Also really hoping they add some sort of alternate levelling option, maybe something similar to Grim Dawns arena? My biggest problem with PoE 1 was the campaign began to feel extremely stale after the 9000th time going through it. I guess they could also spruce it up in similar ways to the recent seasons by adding random features to it which was quite cool.

Cant wait for the new classes as well, This early access was a bit more "early" than I was expecting in terms of content.
