Wootware has stock of the Palit GTX 1080 Ti. With higher end cards being fairly scarce and Wootware's price seeming to be fairly good (11k), is there any dark and dready reason that this card at a good price is not grabbed up immediately?

I'm keeping my eyes open for good prices as I might want to upgrade in the next few months (unless we hear something more definite about Volta), so I'm trying to understand the prices I see a bit better.

You're right, Wootware has it for 11k. I'll update my OP when next I'm at a PC.

Thanks. The reviews does look good, but since the price is by far the best I could find, and the supplier has stock, I prefer to make sure that I'm not missing some obvious reason to avoid it. I'm not very up to date on GPUs, so I make up for my ignorance by asking questions when I'm uncertain of something. ;)

It comes down to a 2 year warranty. Personally I would rather spend more on a EVGA , which has a standard 3 year, and a extended 2 year (5 years total) warranty , provided you reg the card in the 1st ~30days. I think Zotac also have this option.

The brand is largely irrelevant to performance since they all have the same design. It’s the support that that brand has that makes the difference.

Most brands here don’t have a local brand controller, the brand is imported and sold and supported by the reseller.

Buying from Wootware is good. Buying from Evetech, not so good.
