Selling as it is not compatible with my prepaid electricity meter.
The inverter was recently purchased used. Tested and verified working perfectly. is up and doing its thing.
This is a proper state of the art German excellence device. None of that cheap Chinese stuff.
Has 3 Solar MPPT inputs and and is transformer less and silent operation.

PLEASE READ THIS - AN OVERVIEW OF HOW A GRID TIE INVERTER WORKS SPECIFIC TO SA

Full Spec sheet:

I've been exploring innovative ways to make it somehow work with my current configuration but the prepaid meter is the barrier for me. I do not want to go with a new smart bidirectional meter and have to submit to the will of COCT for SSEG etc. etc.
The seller I purchased it from assured me it worked perfectly fine with no issue on his meter. He does have one of those old school rotary type spinning wheel meters though.
I've also chatted to the MD of Exsolar (official agents for Kaco) and he mentioned these usually sell for around the 20k mark and there's just no getting around my issue without going the new meter route.
This will massively benefit someone looking to reduce their electricity cost and reliance on Eskom and just so happens to either have a more compatible meter or one of those old school meters OR is going the SSEG route.

Dropping this to R7000 - taking quite a knock on this - but need the funds to channel in to more solar panels.
I'd reckon to ship it should cost about R300 or thereabouts

The specific prepaid meter I have though does not tolerate any marginal export and even with the limiter there would be some, albeit very little, export which would trip the meter.
Ahh, yes. There are a few pre-paid meters that are very sensitive to exported power and trip immediately. The Conlog meters immediately come to mind. Unfortunately even with grid limiting it is impossible to prevent export entirely, for example when a large load turns off. If you fall under the CoCT you must also make sure it is on their approved inverter list since it is an on-grid inverter.

Indeed - if you decide to go SSEG. Else, not really.
Sick of having big brother dictate and have us jump through hoop after hoop - to harvest sunshine.
We're doing them a favor and only compensating for governments inadequacies and outright theft.

I do get the method behind the madness though, but still.

And on that note - dropping this to the insanely low price of R5000. I'll suck a hobo dick if you can find this or anything close to it for cheaper.

Will also swap for a 3D printer. Would prefer a resin printer you may have laying about doing nothing or an Ender 3 or Ender 5

Have had queries asking how it works -

A great explanation and answered better than I could :

another option is if you have an inverter with a generator port you could possible connect this to feed in as a generator and take advantage of the MPPTs to boost solar power

Yes. I suppose that could technically be viable.Like a Sunsynk/Deye/Victron. Guess one could get innovative and creative.
