Such garbage.
Just a few things worth highlighting.
1. The insinuation that NVIDIA is essentially trying to corner the ROG branding exclusively to NVIDIA as an example is rubbish. ROG is an entire Business Unit within ASUS. I know this because I go there very often.
GPP is to say that for instance ARES, must remain AMD while Poseidon would always be NVIDIA GPUs. Not a mix. That is how one builds consistent messaging in the brand.
It has nothing to do with owning ROG.

2. There are at least a few reasons for this aligned messaging, one of which is because Taiwanese companies are notoriously bad at communications and marketing. I know this first hand, after years on end frequenting all kinds of hardware vendors and partners and seeing their marketing strategies fail before they even get written on paper.
More over, consider there's what INTEL calls a Marketing Development Fund (MDF). It has very strict guidelines, as detailed as which logos to use, where to put them, how much Intel pays for ad content in respect to the size of their logo etc.
It's literally what NVIDIA is doing. They already had a marketing fund which they gave to partners, but it was not as finely controlled as the one from INTEL, that's why you ended up with is the following for example.

GIGABYTE's G1 GAMING brand has both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. All under the same G1 umbrella. Then there's also Xtreme Gaming which right now only has NVIDIA GPUs (has always been actually). Now if for instance GIGABYTE's VGA B.U joins the GPP, it would/could mean that all G1 NVIDIA based GPUs must be moved to Xtreme Gaming or another line. However they will not share a family with AMD products. That way, it's not possible for the NVIDIA MDF to end up funding AMD products. Wherever the Xtreme Gaming brand is seen, it would become obvious to all that it is NVIDIA products that are being touted. MSI is an even better example, because right now, everything of theirs is called Gaming-X or ARMOR regardless of where the GPU comes from and as a result this branding is meaningless. (Another example of why marketing from Taiwanese vendors is profoundly poor, save for one or two who are slightly better)

3. Using 20 years in the industry (Kyle) and as a result having inside info as to how this program works is BS. All these companies are situated halfway across the world from him. Secondly, if anyone knows anything about not only Taiwanese culture, but in particular this industry; information isn't shared voluntarily, especially to media. Since all decisions stem from HQ - in a country where he is not. Exactly where are these nameless sources from that would be willing to share internal documents with him? And because why exactly, so he can fight the good fight on the people's behalf? A number of people in these companies continue to have jobs precisely because NVIDIA GPUs sell so much. If that stopped happening they wouldn't have those jobs or have to take massive pay cuts in bonuses (bonuses in the industry and in particular in Taiwan make up most of the salary, not the monthly wage/earning) simply because AMD's marketing program gives nowhere near the same as NVIDIA or INTEL's. In fact it's fractions. This is not to say NVIDIA is some benevolent company, no they are not, far from it. However, the idea that these people are concerned about consumer choice is garbage. Here, it's money first. They do not give a damn about consumer choice, as long as the product is selling. (Which is part of why they are terrible at marketing as Sales departments have overwhelming power within these companies and influence marketing strategies and budgets, product development Etc.)

4. Kyle probably has some seriously bad info or something else is happening. Either way, this is a misrepresentation of the situation. It's fostering FUD in a market that has too much of it already. Everyone should nail NVIDIA when they do something questionable like the telemetry in their drivers, their near none existent 3D Vision development (after pushing it so hard), ever increasing pricing, lock down on overclocking and a host of other things they continue to get wrong intentionally or otherwise. This isn't one of them.
