So first off, this was a sort of rushed purchase lastweek due to wanting to build my system when my case arrived and have never ever had an issue with CM fans all my life in the last 20 years or so.

Link above is the kit and man.. these things are plenty noisy with a drone-like noise coming from them. Kinda sounds like a flying drone competition happening outside in my neighbourhood and I simply cannot leave my PC on overnight anymore as the buzzing can be heard from 2 rooms away. Then just last night, one of them developed some ticking noise above that.

Just wanted to ask, has anyone else had this experience with these particular fans? I am looking to either replace them with the seller but concerned if I'd get the same sort of issues further down the line.

Is it from the motor? Have you tried setting a custom fan curve?

I had/have some of these fans. Some of the fans had the same drone like sound and some did not.
I appreciate the feedback, some further online research pointed out to the same issues with this model. Some lucky, some not :/

I have tried all various rpm settings yes. Its a standard pitch of drone noise where the pitch does not change between various rpm.

The only issue now is that I've decided to take a break from supporting my local Wootware retailer who would usually promptly request to return the item for testing/credit & right now am yet to receive positive support from this local seller.

Any other way of perhaps getting in touch with coolermaster directly about this issue?
