Lens is in as-new condition and works perfectly. The last of the real, compact, SLR 50mm f/1.4 (Gauss-style) lenses before we were given massive 1kg monstrosities using 77mm filters. This lens both has absolutely beautiful character / bokeh at wide apertures, and is pixel-perfect sharp across the frame on a merciless Nikon D850 (47MP) at smaller apertures. A perfect compromise.
